Lorelei Daily is an opportunity to commune with you for a few moments every day to share the journey of life, my insights on the cosmic energies and cycles, and techniques to consciously create your life. Lorelei Daily is a dose of 'infectious enthusiasm'.
My greatest passion is RELATIONSHIPS. I believe that EVERY MATCH IS MADE IN HEAVEN, beginning with your relationship with you. Everyone is in your life, on purpose, scripted by your soul, to teach you about you. This includes your spouse, lovers, parents, children, siblings, other relatives, friends, boss, co-workers.
The Law of Attraction brings you those relationships that have the most to teach you. Every relationship is a mirror. What you see in others that you like is in you; and what you see in others that you don't like is also in you. Your challenging relationships are your greatest teachers. And relationships never die or end; they simply change form. You have written a 'script' for everyone in your life, consciously or unconsciously. If you don't like the 'script,' you can change it!
Astrology is a valuable tool to understand who comes into your life, when and why...whether it's for five minutes, a lifetime or anything in between.
This is the most exciting time to be ALIVE on our planet and it's time for you to have all that your heart desires.
"THE ONES WHO ARE CRAZY ENOUGH TO THINK THAT
THEY CAN CHANGE THE WORLD,
ARE THE ONES WHO DO."
JACK KEROUAC
It's time to boldly sing the song of your soul is the message of this brilliant Full Moon in innovative, ingenious, unconventional, one-of-a-kind AQUARIUS, beginning at 9:37pm on Sunday, July 25, and continuing until 12:25am on Friday, July 30.
When the Moon is Full, the gravitational pull between the Moon on one side of the earth and the Sun on the other has as great an effect on our own bodily water levels, as well as those of the Earth. Full Moon energies begin at least 72 to 48 hour before it actually occurs. While every Full Moon represents a time of enlightenment, it can also symbolize various struggles and tug-of-war conditions, externally or internally.
Full Moons are about endings, closing chapters in your life, and the final conclusion. You can never have new beginnings before you experience endings. The Moon represents your heart, your private life, and your inner drives. Full Moons signify the completion, culmination of what may have been initiated during the New Moon Solar Eclipse in CANCER on July 11, which encourages you to strengthen family ties, as well as to come to terms with the past and let it go.
You may or may not notice the effect (depending on how powerful the Moon is in your astrological chart), but there is no doubt that this energy creates an inner pull, fullness...and may help you to connect psychically with others.
Everything becomes clearer and more intense under the light of the Full Moon...emotions and egos can become quite inflated, as there is more awareness and focus on relationships. You may also feel energized by the light of the Moon and have more luminous dreams which may cause you to have a lack of sleep and to feel restless.
The AQUARIUS Moon oppposes the LEO Sun while both align to the energies of the Cardinal T-Square (for you astrology buffs) the current planetary dance between Saturn (old), Uranus (new) and Pluto (purge and transform). This planetary dance is in full force and continues to build strength and gain momentum which has been happening for since 2008.
So, what does this all mean? Some things that may have begun as early as 2008...may they be in thought or deed...might be coming to a close now. Endings or culmination...rewards or recognition...achievements or coming to terms with failure. Saturn and Uranus have been having their tug of war between VIRGO and PISCES since late 2008, and now for their last hurrah, they tug at each other in the cardinal, or initiating signs, of LIBRA and ARIES. Cardinal energy creates and initiates. What Saturn and Uranus may have stirred up these past years also comes to a milestone of some sort...an ending, perhaps and a beginning to another phase as their opposition now is a part of a greater energy with far reaching influence and impact.
Whether or not anything from two years ago is getting a final look now in your world, this Full Moon is asking you to take stock and break away from old, obsolete ways of doing or thinking. It could be that some situation in your life, the rigorous restraints and rules are no longer comfortable, desirable, bearable or tolerable. Accept any failures as a part of the journey. Recognize achievements because it's easy to overlook them and give more focus to what may have failed. Release and let go...prepare yourself for what's to come.
During a LEO/AQUARIUS Full Moon, issues involving individuals and their relationship to the collective become the center of attention. If you are involved in any groups or associations, you may perceive a heightened sense of tension as the organization strives to accommodate the needs of its members along with its own overarching identity and goals. Yet, if outstanding issues are worked on, there can be great breakthroughs in group dynamics and team building.
This may prove to be an intense Full Moon period since this Lunar event is enveloped by significant astrological alignments occurring just days before and after. In the days leading up to this Full Moon, Saturn moved back into LIBRA, where it will be until October, 2012, and Jupiter squares Pluto as it begins a 4 month retrograde cycle on July 23, which will last until November 18. And the day after the Full Moon, July 26, we experience the last of the five Saturn/Uranus oppositions, which I talked about above.
Jupiter goes retrograde in bold and daring ARIES on July 23, reverses into PISCES on September 9, where it turns direct again on November 18. Jupiter is the planet of expansion, success, confidence and good luck. When it goes retrograde, however, all that bountiful energy needs to be turned inward. During a Jupiter retrograde period, all outer materialistic ambitions become less important and indeed slightly harder to fulfill. You may encounter difficulties and obstacles where none existed before.
With Jupiter in fiery ARIES from early June, you may have felt a jolt of energy and forward progress, however, as Jupiter retrogrades, what is truly important is to connect with your spiritual center and look there for genuine, lasting and healing solutions. You will find that you are putting a higher value on emotions and less emphasis on money and material possessions.
More than anything, Jupiter wants you to find a real sense of meaning and purpose in your life. This is the time to go inward...to review and reflect. New goals and aims should come out of this time. Having a vision of your ideal is very important to Jupiter. Life isn't all about collecting wood and drawing water...the treadmill of daily life. There is another dimension into which you can now move. It may not be the time to act on your dreams, but more a time to gestate...to prepare, plan and ask your muse for inspiration. Then by November, you'll be ready to move ahead with a renewed sense of enthusiasm, meaning and purpose. Jupiter reminds us:
"WHAT IS GRACE?" I ASKED GOD.
AND HE SAID, "ALL THAT HAPPENS."
St.John of the Cross
This portends to be an active time. The structures you have built and the assumptions you have stood behind may be called into question. If you can honor the past with wisdom while being open to the influx of change...while at the same time surrendering and letting go of that which truly doesn't serve your higher good and ideals, you may find this time to be provocative, liberating, and fruitful.
There's a certain exuberance to this AQUARIUS Full Moon that suggests movement, and lots of it. It could be the out that you've been looking for, the 'open sesame' that magically creates a door in the brick wall you've been hitting for so long. Uranus, the planet of chaos and breakthrough, is the ruler of this Full Moon, and he's less than a day away from the 5th and last contentious exact opposition to Saturn.
Uranus is the rebel which bucks convention, the freedom fighter, the innovator, the spark of genious, the awakener. Saturn, conversely, is the authoritarian, the disciplinarian, the lord of time and the material world, the enforcer of structure and order.
What will be unleashed? And what will you find on the other side of that door? Many of us are going to experience an awakening of some sort, and that could open the door to solutions that have eluded us so far. Indeed, when you expand your point of view and see problems from a broader perspective, you can come up with creative new ways of solving them.
While the Moon in AQUARIUS represents detached, cool reason, the Sun in LEO symbolizes the heart, joy, and the celebration of life. It is who you are at your core, where your higher mind shines through you. When the challenges facing you are so tough that you throw up your hands in defeat, that's often the moment when you break through to the knowledge of who you are and what you're here for. That, in turn, gives you renewed hope and the will to keep pushing ahead.
Tune into LORELEI DAILY, on MONDAY, AUGUST 9, under the NEW MOON in childlike, playful, fun-loving LEO, for more on the planetary weather and a dose of my infectious enthusiasm. And until we connect, I wish you...
BLUE SKIES, GREEN LIGHTS AND LUCKY STARS!
Love and Blessings,
Lorelei
